Artists-in-Resonance (AiR)
A year-long creative residency for undergraduate and graduate students that runs from September to June.
The Artists-in-Resonance program brings together emerging artists whose work engages social justice, by offering material support, creative development, and a vibrant community. This program creates a process-driven, justice-centered space for artists to experiment and explore.
The Artists-in-Resonance is a 2-4 hour/week commitment that includes:
Bi-Weekly Convening
(2 hrs)
Artists will convene bi-weekly for a peer-led workshop, development, and collaborative space.
Showcase Opportunity
(Spring Quarter)
Artists in Resonance will have the opportunity to showcase their work in an end-of-year offering with all IDA student artists.
Material Support
(once per year)
IDA will support materials costs up to $500 and facilitate connections with other resources as needed to support the development of new work.
24/7 Access
(always)
AiR will receive door code access to Harmony House and the space is available for free reservation for any structured/scheduled programming or events.
Additional Funding
(spring)
If a project requires more materials investment, artists can appeal for more funding (subject to availability).
